Miss Jesica

Hello, my name is Jesica Simó López-Maroto and I’m from Valencia, where I came sixteen years ago from Madrid.

Now I am twenty and I am studying in the ‘’Universidad catolica de Valencia’’ the grade named PIMM, that includes the grade of kindergarten teaching, primary teaching, and the specialty of English language. One of the most important thing of this double grade is that all years of the fourth that is composed the grade I have been doing practices at different schools, now I’m in the third course of the career and I have been in this school doing my practices: Sagrado Corazon de Godella (3 years), Escolapias (second of primary) and this year in the British school (at year one).

The reason of doing this double grade is because I couldn’t choose which course I prefer to teach. I think that all different ages are important to give a good education and teach them well. But the main thing is that I don’t really mind the age of the children because all the learning stages have the same importance and what I really like is to teach.

Moreover I’m studying to be a teacher because I love to help the children to learn and to grow up as the future society that they are going to be.  I think that to be a teacher you need to have a vocation and I really have it, I think that is the best work of the world and it was for my one of the clearest decisions of my live, because I think that I was born to be a teacher.

And, why English? The reason is that I always like English, I have studied in a bilingual school and I have gone to Scotland to learn this language, and the more that I now about it, the more that I want to learn, including that I think that nowadays it’s such an important language.
