Phonics

One of the main thing we have to remember when we teach english, especially speaking, is that the pronunciation is very important, and as in english the way of Reading or speaking is pronunciation all the letters (phonics) is essential to know phonetics.

So here I’m going to post some resources for teachers and for children to work phonetics:

First the entire international phonic alphabet

To learn phonics I like to teach them by Jolly phonics. In this video you can see what's about:

I have work in my shool training with it and it's amazing the improvement they do in their writing, speaking, listening...

so I really recommend it.

Tv serie alphablocks

You can find lots of episodes on the YouTube. This is a great TV series that help children to read by adding phonemes.
I have experimented that children (in this case of 5 years) loves it and learn a lot, and there are very short episodes so you can also work with it.
When I first so it remember me to the board game named scrabble, so I think that they don’t only learn phonemes and new words (vocabulary), they also learn how to form words mixing some letters.

PhonicsPlay

In this web side there are lots resources for work the phonemes (on the bottom of the picture you can see what type of things you can find here). The only thing is that you have to register your shelve or your school, but I really recommend this page.

Teacher book

I think that all teachers should have a reference book, and in this case in my school practice they work in relative to this teacher book.
I have watched and read it, watch the application, and work with it and I can say you, that is a great phonic book in this case for primary.
