The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler (3-4 years old)

The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler

3-4 years old

Pre-teaching

First as the one I explain we make some questions like:
What is a Gruffalo?
What does a Gruffalo eats?
Where live a Gruffalo?

Later we will enter in the deep dark wood  (class, playground, corridor..) where we will found some animals and some big sentences that always repeats while we continue walking (the teacher will read them) and also they will find some parts of the story like settings, characters, words, parts of the Grufalo.
When we collect all…

Actual teaching

The teachers read the magical book that only can open and read it ones.
So she reads it showing thing and hide it
Now they have heard the story and they have some parts of it that had collected in the deep dark wood. So they have to order the story (only the simple things like the animals).
Later we will revised them with them and tell some vocabulary.

Post-teaching

But when they (with our help) make the story they will realize that there isn’t an end and that there is a letter where it puts that they have to live again the things in the right order in the deep dark wood while the teacher with their help tell the story again so they will discover the end.

*It will be nice that they go back to the deep dark wood to see the story in live (a theater where they can participate or live like an animal more)
